The staff are attentive, kind and helpful. The hotel is steps away from great shopping and food, Ueno Park (with zoo, shrines, and more), Ueno Station and a host of other fun and free activities. This location is perfect for those who are first-time travelers to Tokyo and for those on return visits who enjoy convenience, excellent service, and amenities.

The best thing about this hotel was it's location. It's closeness to Ueno Station, being very convenient. No breakfast option was a downside, but we solved that by walking to Starbucks at the station, for a morning coffee. Unlike, cafes in NZ and Australia, many don't open til later in the morning.
