i was staying at the hotel one night, because I was flying early the next morning from Haneda airport. So only one night, but it was a very nice hotel og the staff was kind. the bed was good.

We needed a place to rest on an overnight in Tokyo. This hotel was perfect! It was quiet, convenient to the metro, and just what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the soap/shampoo in the bathroom was the best smelling product I've ever smelled at a hotel. The room was not big, but had everything we needed for a nice, comfortable, place to sleep. And we got a great night's sleep!

Young man who greeted us at reception didn't even bother to say hello, just demanded our passports. As a service worker myself I find this incredibly off-putting. The place smelled quite strongly, and the room was very cold, the heater was incredibly ineffective. Other than being in a convenient location, this hotel is not a place I would recommend at all.

Thank you for staying at HOTEL SUI GINZA KYOBASI by ABEST.Although we had the opportunity to stay with you, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the staff's response and the condition of your room.The front desk is the point of contact with our valued customers, and is an important place to greet them and provide guidance to them during their stay.Despite this, we are saddened that the staff member who dealt with us made the customer uncomfortable.Also, the ineffectiveness of the air conditioner (heater) in the guest room is directly related to the comfort of the guest during their stay, which is embarrassing.There may have been some points that were unclear because the remote control was only in Japanese.In order to improve this situation, we will share information with our staff, and we will especially tell the staff who responded to this incident to provide better customer service.Thank you for providing your valuable feedback for improving the hotel.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Not all spoke English but all very friendly. They can use translate device as needed. Room is small and narrow, nice small bathroom with tub. Comfortable. Clean and crisp bedding and towels. Cleaning every 4 days but can get new towels as needed. Drinks like coffee tea water all day long available for free. At night sake and plum wine. Location by Tokyo station and subway around the corner. Perfect location with shopping and restaurants nearby.

It was very uncomfortable because communication was hard if you didn't speak Japanese. I tried to use a translator app but the gentleman who worked in the morning was not friendly at all and he just seemed like he was mad that he had to communicate with me. I asked about the breakfast and he told me it's didn't come with my room. But he didn't let me know that I can pay for a breakfast if I wanted to. I was starving in the morning and I just wanted to eat something I would have paid for breakfast if you told me that was an option. The rooms are so small and it's very uncomfortable there's nowhere to put my suitcase. Especially if you're staying with two people. The shelves that are in between the two beds were full of dust so I couldn't put anything on the shelf or else I would be tracking Dust in my suitcase when I left. The thing that I liked about the room was that it was near the Metro and it was affordable compared to a lot of the other places.

Close to shopping district and restaurants. A short walk from the Tokyo Station. Compact yet efficient for a short stay, we weren’t in the room for long as the hotel was not the focus of our trip. Would definitely stay again.

First time Tokyo visitor
Easy walking distance to Tokyo Station and great neighborhood. And Tokyo Station has access to everything. I was surprised at how helpful EVERYONE was towards English only speakers.

poor experience
The concierge is small and the person seems sleepy. Quick check in and notice the room layout is odd. the twin bed is not side by side and is head to head. The lighting is a bit dark and the carpet and walls a bit old. I put down luggage and went out for activities. Back to hotel late night and tire and slept. found washroom is tiny compare to the hotels i stay before. The toilet is terrible that the water kept running and noisy all night. closed the door to cut down the noise. Also you can hear the people walking from above floor. Most terrible is the cleaning, Blanket cover has blood stain on it, pillow cover has odour and feels like wasn't changed from last person. The television was hung very high on the wall and need to look up to watch, very tire of my neck. The TV was dusty because when i move the angle of the TV and dust fell down and i need to wash my hand. I felt disappointed because the money they charge is not what i expected. Also my mind is always thinking the Japanese hotels are very clean, Now i need to change my thought.

Very good service by staff. The hotel allowed us to store our big bags temporarily for several days while we visited other places outside of tokyo, before returning to the hotel for our final night in Tokyo. Room is small but clean. If you get a choice, pick the hotel rate excluding breakfast, as breakfast is just two pieces of buns. Better to just go somewhere else for breakfast

Great location and room! Very comfortable bed, comforter, and pillows. Also really liked the free pastries and drinks! Only slight downside is that the bathroom really is very tiny, though the room itself was fairly spacious.
