By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

This is a great option for solo or lightly-travelling couples. A single room with literally all the amenities you need is a rare find for the price this was at and in a fairly central location too. The owner is almost always available for communication and will help with practically everything they can. There might be just a few too many helpful messages, but I would accept that over a manager who never responds. The right area to be in a party district, but not too close that you have to fight off suspicious touts. There was a slight smell in the room when I arrived but it went away and everything was very clean. I definitely recommend this place.
