"This charming castle is truly a gem among Umbrian fields. Set on a hill, it's a very well-maintained and clean hotel, with a pool overlooking the nearby valley. The staff was amazing, and especially Daniela at the reception desk who made us feel like at home. She had lots of recommendations of things to do in the area and made sure we had vegan and vegetarian options at breakfast. "The views from Gian's property are amazing and it is so peaceful and spacious. We stayed for a week and are a family of 5 and there was so much space for us. Gian was an excellent host and gave us lots of recommendations for local sites, parking, drinks, etc. There are lots of lovely towns and villages within easy distance and the local town of Todi is gorgeous to wander around, plus has a decent supermarket for supplies. The pool is big and has amazing views from it with plenty of loungers. Slightly more shade around it would have been great in very hot August weather.The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of everything, the beds are comfy and the house stayed cool during hot days, though we did use the aircon at night.We would definitely recommend this house and would like to return sometime"
