"It was a great day stay the only thing I didn’t like is the late check-in 4 PM no I feel like chicken should be at least noon"

"We overall enjoyed our stay at County Line Hideout Starry Night. The property is beautiful, the layout is great, and the bathtub and fireplaces were lovely. That said, a few things could be improved. One issue was locating the cabin — our GPS repeatedly took us to an empty field, and we were unable to reach the advertised 24/7 assistance number by call or text when we needed help finding the property. We didn't hear back until the following morning. Cleanliness also fell short of what we expected, especially compared to another Absolute Charm property we previously stayed at that was immaculate. There were areas that needed more attention, including spider webs, dirt/debris near the back door, hair on the bathroom counter, and floors/corners that did not seem thoroughly cleaned. We also think it would be helpful to mention in the listing that three cats frequently hang around the property, and to provide a bit more backup stock of paper towels and toilet paper. Overall, the cabin itself is very nice and we did enjoy our stay, but the cleanliness and lack of support when trying to locate the property kept it from being a better experience. We will stay again, as we did enjoy our time overall!"

"This was a perfect property for enjoying the river with a big group. The cabins provide comfortable, clean living and sleeping spaces and the outdoor amenities made it really easy to enjoy the river. The host was nice and accommodating as well. "

"Cabin is close to road but quiet and secluded. The woodwork and the inside decor is stunning! Very well maintained. Loved the two fireplaces and Hot Tub. Enjoyed watching the Hummingbirds. They supply bird seed for Bird feeder, loved watching all the birds. The kitchen is stocked well with coffee, spices, paper towels etc. Large walk in shower. The drive into Fredericksburg is scenic. Highly recommend! My husband and I will definitely be back! The communication with our Host was great!"

"We arrived to our cabin and there were multiple cat bowls outside on the porch and 3 cats, I was not sure we were in the right place. I messaged asking about the cats and was told they live there, I let them know I was allergic but they didn't seem to think it was a problem. Nothing was said about cats in the listing. I was told they live there and to feed them if I want to. They never left the front patio which is where the hot tub was. We will not stay at this cabin again."

"We had the best time this weekend in the RV. We were all comfortable and everything worked great. We enjoyed sitting outside looking up at the stars/planets every night. We had an app and could identify what we were viewing in the sky. Amazing open space to watch the sunset too. Perfect location and very peaceful. Highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to get away from it all but still be close enough to Fredericksburg in about 15 minutes. And the owner was very attentive-checking on us everyday to make sure we had what we needed and were comfortable. "
