Could Not Have Been Better!
The house was perfect! Love all the inside and outside sitting areas. Perfect place to stay for a Clemson home game. We will definitely be back!
Was very impressed with how quickly Lisa got back to me every time I reached out. The property was incredible- it fit my needs perfectly and the views were beautiful. So much fun and loved lake hartwell, would love to come back again soon for longer!
It was a lovely place for a family reunion and to create new memories together. Having access to the lake, dock, paddle boards and kayaks provided great outdoor activities. The bedrooms and gathering place upstairs was sufficient for our group of 11.
Comfortable and spacious home for myself and my sisters and our families. We enjoyed doing puzzles together at the large dining table and drinking our coffee out on the dock enjoying the amazing view of the water and fall landscape in the background. Hot tub was great and clean. Thank you for sharing your home!
Good property for spending the days on the lake. We had trouble accessing the home at arrival but the property manager communication and response was quick. Plenty of sleeping space. Large TVs, small refrigerator. The hot tub was not clean and had a moldy smell so we did not use it. The dock was perfect for swimming, sun bathing or just hanging out. Overall nice experience.
This was our first time staying in Toccoa and really enjoyed it! Spent a ton of time on the lake - the water pad was a huge hit as were the stand up paddle board and kayaks. Deep water off the dock and not a ton of boat traffic so felt very safe. The kids and adults all used the hot tub and made smores by the fire pit. We went into Toccoa one of the days to see the falls on campus but spent the rest of the 2.5 days out on the lake. Kitchen was stocked but I’d recommend bringing paper plates and cups if you’re coming with a big group. The host was very responsive to questions and provided good communication around check in and check out. We loved it and plan to come back next year!
The lakehouse is very cute and spacious. It fit our party of 8 very well. We had a couple of small issues, but the host was quick to respond and resolve them.
Amenities were pretty good. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! Bring plastic wrap or Tupperware if you fave leftovers. We appreciated the provided soap, dish soap, kitchen cleaning supplies, etc. Bed were very comfortable. Nice dock area but no life jackets. There was beds for 14 plus a futon. Be aware that there are no close stores nearby so bring what you need. No icemaker. Good fire pit so bring some firewood. We had a great time!!
The open layout of the house is great for lots of friends and family to be together. The swimming/boating dock area is fantastic for big groups. Definitely bring some rafts. The house could use a few updates and finishing in the basement, but those are minor things. This is a great lake house.
This is a great waterfront home for fun times on the water as well as rainy days in the home. We had 3 generations together for several days and there was plenty of room for all. Hanging out on the dock, s'mores at the firepit, Phase 10 at the table and lots more... it was a great time for all.
We love this house and this was our second time renting. There were a few issues. We were not aware that there was no ice maker or ice trays. It would have been nice to know this before arriving. Also there were two hand held can openers , neither worked. Also the bushes surrounding the steps need some attention.
Everything about the house was just right. Sleeping arrangements, THE SUNROOM!!!!, the extra half bath, the toys at the dock. Just right.

Not the best surrounding area
We were so excited to spend our spring break on the lake little did we know it wasn’t what we were expecting at all. To start all things off the last 15 minute drive through the neighborhood/area to get to the house was so trashy looking tons of trashy trailer's with tons of junk piled all around them all. Then we got to the house which was nicer looking than what we had just driven through but Not as nice as the pictures look. The views to the lake were beautiful and it was a nice scenery to look at from the back windows but the house smelled old and stale. The bathrooms downstairs were not clean which I didn’t noticed till we were leaving because we stayed up stairs for the most part but the toilets had mold in them. The carpets are all stained up. We went down to the dock to look around and enjoy the lake but the deck and water play slip had duck poop all over it. There were polls with electrical wires down so there was no power/lights out on the dock, nothing outside had been cleaned up before we had gotten there and the canoe and body board were just thrown up in the wooded area so dirt and broken. We did reach out to the renting company right away and couldn’t get a hold of anyone. I tried emailing with pictures and calling and leaving voicemails. The next day someone sent me an email back stating someone would get in touch with me and it took another day of me calling to get a hold of someone through text saying they would send someone out the next day (3 days later)
