Mountain Weekend

My friends and I stayed here for a NYE/ski weekend and had the best time. The house could fit all of us comfortably and was close to camelback mountain! It was the perfect house and location for our group!

Good house for a large group

Overall, this home worked out great for our extended family (ages 1-87). It was a large home with plenty of space for all our children and grandchildren. No one was on top of each other. Everything was spacious and comfortable. The lake and beach were clean, kid friendly, and not crowded. Use of the kayaks, paddleboards, and pickleball courts kept the younger adults busy. The kids liked the playground on the beach. At the house we utilized the pool table, hot tub, and fire pit. You should be aware that only 6 of the wristbands provided are "free" to use at all the above listed amenities. The rest of your party will have to pay a daily use fee. We were not told this ahead of time. The A/C in the house is NOT in the 3 bedrooms downstairs. We were told this before we went but found those bedrooms on the warm side even with the ceiling fans on. The rest of the house was cooled nicely. It was nice to have "linens" included and to not have to bring sheets but note that the towels are small and there are no washcloths so you might want to bring your own. We were disappointed to find that the Olympic size pool advertised was closed for the season for renovations as we had hoped to utilize it. However, Zac compensated by giving us a reduction on our rate. He was always quick to respond to questions and concerns we had.

Amazing house. 20 minutes to all restaurants, activities and town.

The owner was amazing, the house was amazing, everything was clean and spotless. Whenever I had a question, Zac responded immediately. The only issue was the first floor bedrooms did not have air conditioning. All the rooms on the first floor had air conditioning other than the 3 bedrooms and all of upstairs had air conditioning. Amazing experience. Already thinking of returning next year.

Mini vacation Shawnee Mtn

Booked a last min trip to ski at Shawnee this house was the largest w/closest proximity 35 min drive. House is spacious and has terrific layout. Hot tub def bonus although we had trouble heating it to 100 could be b/c we had ice storm while there but owner was responsive. Love that towels /linens provided & owner takes care of laundering that saves so much time! Absolutely loved the house and highly recommend to anyone considering a getaway! Local pizza place had great Italian food too. I do suggest if are renting while it snows def get lots of ice melt it was extremely slippery from car to front door & out back to hot tub. Not a big deal if prepared & there’s a shovel which came in handy. Overall this is one of the best homes we’ve rented!
