"Staying at this hotel was one of the best decisions we made. The staff were the best. They were kind and helpful and fun to spend time with. They were helpful to book experiences and offer recommendations for dining. The food at the hotel was amazing. They have wonderful cooks who always went the extra mile to make each meal perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the hotel is arranged so you spend most of your time by the pool or sitting around the bar or eating area. You do hear barking dogs and roosters but you are in a neighborhood and it’s Mexico. There is a bar that plays loud music but it is not every night and it stops at 11pm. Those things did not bother us. We loved being within walking distance to the beach and the La Punta neighborhood I would stay there again!!"

"We had a dream vacation at Casa Kuaa. The vibe of the place is one of the chillest coolest places I’ve stayed at and our room was phenomenal. I say that because our patio space was dreamy, the layout of our room was so functional for us with a little kitchenette and a refrigerator. The bathroom space was perfect. The bedroom air conditioner worked perfectly, and we only ran it at night and the room cooled off immediately my only complaint were the two tiny pillows and the sheets on the bed were never tucked in and came out. No fitted sheets and that drives me nuts at night. The four cats that lived there were so sweet and tame, and I enjoyed them a lot. As did a lot of the other guest. The bar and restaurant was lovely and the bartender, Alberto(?)was a great mixologist. The location of Casa Kuaa Is unbeatable. We rented an ATV right around the corner and explored all of Puerto Escondido. Chanel and Roberto at the front desk always took great care of us if we needed anything like towels they would make it happen. We are already planning our return vacation for next year."

"We had cleaner every day which is great, we asked for fresh towels every day from reception, also we had an umbrella and 2 sun beds for the beach every day, which again you have to get a token from the reception, beach called Coral beach which is one of the most beautiful beach in P.T Escondido, price is good as well. "

"Lovely hotel in a nice area. We really enjoyed our month-long stay at Hotel Manglar! Close enough to Punta to enjoy the restaurants, cafes and beach, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of nature around. Safe area with nice locals and a few other little hotel/casas. The main street/highway nearby has some great new places that just opened like Ojitos coffee and Moringa for healthy takeaway food & drinks. We liked the mix of hotel with staff during the day to just guests at night. Friendly staff, from the girls at the front desk to the maintenance & cleaning crew - they have a family kind of vibe which is really nice. We had a couple requests like extra hangers & blanket which they accomodated quickly. Beautiful space with a refreshing pool that gets sun and shade throughout the day. Lots of poolside seating and loungers, the area is never full even when the hotel is - so it's always a pretty peaceful ambience. Strong wifi for phone or laptop. We appreciated the fresh drinking water on each floor. We loved our room, which had a large balcony. The bed was super comfy, the pillows were great with both soft and firm options. Excellent shower pressure with no shortage of hot water. Lots of space for clothes storage. We rented a scooter which we found essential (you can walk around 20 minutes to the main streets, but in the heat and at night we preferred to have the scooter). Highly recommend Hotel Manglar!"
