It is not in the main road, but nearby everything you like, including the beautiful sea and the fisher boats. "Hotel is a new hotel, so in a good condition. This feedback is for the owner for betterment of the business, not necessarily a criticism. Generally speaking staff is good too. However, the staff needs better training. The hotel room layout and design needs improvement, we had sewage smell in the room which was due to the exhaust - due to room insulation the exhaust would suck the air out of the drainage. "We had an amazing two nights at Kaldan Samudhra! Amazing property, with excellent service. Santu in the restaurant took amazing care of us. But all the staff was very friendly and attentive. One of them even noticed that my son was reading a book and brought him a bookmark. The food was very good and the pool and amenities (gym, rec room) were fantastic as well. We will certainly plan a trip back here! "

"Nice location, in centre of town, very near beach, but quiet too. Friendly and good value. Nearby is Joe's Cafe for excellent coffee and hot and cold snacks freshly made. On main street nearby there is great place to get laundry done, very good quality and price. Top Star I think it is called. Also very friendly and nice tea shop next to it. Also check out Sabhra restaurant across from temple near Krishna Butter Ball for great N. Indian food at very good prices. Great town and beach, but be careful of rip tide in sea. "

Food is huge disappointment, High tea is a shame. Lights are very less which gives seedy look at night. Pool is not very clean and tiles are broken. The security head has some attitude and not fair to KA cars. The place has secure feeling and had a great sleep. Overall good experience. There are many very good 5 stars around and restaurants across road . It's very close to main attraction of shore temple. Highly recommended for families and they can be great with few changes "
