"The room was comfortable and generally well maintained, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the in-room amenities was disappointing. The coffee mugs were not properly cleaned, and the electric kettle had significant limescale buildup, which came out every time we tried to heat water. We requested a replacement kettle at night, and while it was slightly better, it still had similar limescale issues. For a brand like DoubleTree, we were expecting a higher standard of attention to detail. Overall the stay was okay, but better maintenance and cleaning of basic room facilities would greatly improve the guest experience."

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. My main issue was that there wasn’t decent lighting in the room - the lights in the main room were very dull. Fine for the evening but felt like I couldn’t see properly in the morning - especially as there was very little day light coming into the room."
