The outside of the hotel is unimpressive, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ocean side ones have balconies with lovely Adriatic Sea views. The hotel faces the beach which is about a block away. It provides unattached beach chairs and umbrellas for the day for 20 euros, but no beach towels. The beach area has easy access to the water by steps or a ladder. There are two convenient shaded cafes, a gelato stand and a nice play area for children.

Big apartment with plenty of beds, cooking facilities and washing machine. No dryer. Water and wine to welcome us. A little difficult to understand parking and apartment location video but manager responded to questions with a screenshot of parking location and the apartment location. Nice unique location in the old city and near the waterfront

Good place for family with small kids. 15 min pleasant walk to downtown.

Overall, this property is okay, not the 4 stars though. Our room and shower cabin were tiny even for European standards. The shower door seal was broken with a lot of water leaking on the bathroom floor even with the door shut. Hotel’s location is good, near Trieste and accessible to a freeway to the beautiful areas of Slovenia and Croatia. Breakfast was plentiful to our taste. No swimming pool. Free parking with a sufficient number of stalls. Interesting fact that the elevator is turned off between 10pm and 7am. Not a big deal if you are capable of using stairs but would be a challenge for some folks.
