You can tell that this part of the former ruin has been restored with love. There was a lot of attention to small construction details like the old Bakelite light switches and the garden with typical lanzarote plants and the pool etc.
But, the overall feel of this house was not cozy. It would’ve felt better with some carpetsaccessories. Of course we know the big walls are normal in Lanzarote but it felt really empty and not like a home and the bare concrete floor isn’t helping.
Also the kitchen supplies were incompletebroken, which made it difficult to make it feel like home. We missed that there was no toilet paper, garbage bags, some oil, salt, pepper, barbecue supplies like locking tongs etc. just some basics.
The night lamps in the big bedroom aren’t working. The couch in the living room is really uncomfortable even though it looks really new.
The cushion of the couch are really soft and it feels like you sit directly on the wooden frame.
The doorlocks of the second bedroom have a big issue, the doors tent to lock up and won’t easily open which is pretty dangerous.
The WiFi is pretty bad, it doesn’t work outside the living room.
Although the pool looks very luxourious it wasn’t really usable all of the time. It would have matched the price better if it would have been heated.
