"Nice, small hotel with beautiful pool area. The rooms were large and clean and the second floor balcony was comfortable (though I wish our room had been closer to the beach for a better view- we were looking over the roof of the restaurant). One strange thing is they do not hand out more than one key. We made a big deal out of it, as my husband and I do different activities and we really needed two keys, and they finally gave us a second keyboard. The restaurant has a great view, but the food and service are so so. The snorkeling was surprisingly good. I saw a turtle, loads of fish, and some live coral."

"The location is the best thing about this property. Having the beach right in the backyard is incredible, and the views alone make it a memorable place to stay. The 4th stars is for the location otherwise I would have given it 3 stars.Unfortunately, the house itself didn’t live up to the five-star reviews we saw before booking. While it’s a nice property overall, it could really benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. We also found the kitchen to be quite dated and in need of updating.If you’re looking for direct beach access and don’t mind that the home could use some maintenance and refreshing, the location is hard to beat. However, based on the condition of the house, I don’t feel it currently deserves the five-star rating it has received.If you’d like, I can also make it more detailed, more diplomatic, or more direct while keeping it factual and helpful for future guests."

"Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was absolutely amazing. The beachfront bungalow-style villa was just steps from the water and only a short walk to the hotel restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel was worth every dollar spent, and my wife and I enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen in a long time right from the beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing, authentic Polynesian experience, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended! 🌅🏝️❤️"

"I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it. The host was wonderful — very communicative and accommodating. He met me on arrival and walked me through everything. The unit is a self-contained, ADU-style space with everything you need: a nice kitchen with a refrigerator for cooking and keeping things cold, an incredibly comfortable king-size bed, AC, and a lovely shower. Best of all, it’s about a 45-second walk to the beach — a perfect spot for both sunrises and sunsets. You’re right by the gorgeous Sofitel beach, and the location is very central close to the best restaurants on the island, with easy access to both sides of the island. An overall great stay. Highly recommend!"

"The Moorea Lagoon and Spa should definitely be on the top of your list, the accommodations were clean and are exactly as advertised. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. My wife is Celiac with allergies to Rice, Oats and Soy and each restaurant on site went out of their way to ensure that there was a meal she could eat and enjoy. Even went so far as to make her something that was not on the menu but was fitting for her dietary needs. I would highly recommend staying here and if you can, go for the premium panoramic view over the water bungalows, the sunsets were absolutely stunning."
