"This was not nice- the place felt like a converted hostel. There was an unpleasant smell and no one showered there as everything was just a bit dirty. Half of the light bulbs were burnt out and the laundry was broken. No soap for the shower and rusted towel racks. The sink stopper was broken and it makes it difficult with the separate hot and cold taps. Really overall not a happy experience. If I have one good thing to say, the beds are large and comfortable, but the pillows were not particularly plentiful or full. Would not return. Very disappointed!"

"This property is a husband and wife team, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding the surrounding area. The wife was the cook for their bar and her food was very good!"

"A modern hotel with dining facilities. Very good food and and breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Located in the town close to a supermarket and fuel. About 20 miles to John O Groats. The room was comfortable and spacious with a town view. This was our last stop on the NC500. Upon leaving it was easy to get to the A9 which we took all the way to Pitlochry. A good road. Meals were not included in the price but were good value given that the hotel cost was very reasonable."

"We enjoyed our stay at Greenland house B&B, we was made to feel very welcomed, our room spotlessly clean and was for perfect for our stay on our journey around the NC500. Finished off with a lovely breakfast to start our next day ahead. Would highly recommend "
