Breakfast needs a little help and staff need training properly.

The view of the dale, valley, mountains and trees is amazing. This hotel sits just by itself but it’s heaven placed! Parking is easy on the street, breaky is included in the price and Sam and the team make you feel at home with good food (it was pie day!), beer and a nice cozy restaurant with a view. Our room was squeaky clean, compact but super comfortable.

Convenient location and a nice place.

A nice older style building with all the modern facilities. Very friendly helpful staff. I would stay there again and recommend it.

Nice rooms. Great food.Fabulous location. Would stay here again anytime.

Very clean and comfortable accomodation, with excellent dinning and bar facilities attached next door. Staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to assist.Would certainly use again and again.

We had a great 3 nights at The Plough Inn. The service from James at the bar and the owners, Bob & Cynthia, and their staff was fantastic. They were very helpful, especially when our luggage hadn't arrived on our flight and we were waiting for it to turn up. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends. Our room, 2, was a little on the small side but it was clean and comfy so it wasn't really an issue. The whole place had a very warm and friendly feel to it,...

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big and very comfortable. We ate at downstairs and it was really good too. We would definitely stay again when we come up this way

Service was excellent, every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable. We dined in the evening and the food was excellent, two vegetarians and plenty of choice.

A nice travellers rest inn, we had a very spacious ground floor room with an equally spacious ensuite, the room was a little noisy early evening, but was generally quiet overnight. Well located in the centre of Bakewell close to all the town has to offer. The adjoining pub has a great atmosphere with excellent food and drinks. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Mark , his wife and team create a friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much of a problem. My only criticism would be the standard of the croissants and danish pastries. they never looked fresh and appetising, the croissants were very bready, I will let you off the fruit selection because the whole country suffers from that!!!

Onsite parking, close to the rooms, so easy for checking in. Also there are ground floor rooms. Good location near main road. Although we did not use, the large spacious bar and lounge areas were pleasing. Breakfast excellent. Good value also.

Lovely old inn with a lot of charm. Has been renovated fittingly. Super friendly and helpful staff. Dinner was delicious.

Comfortable bed, clean room, and wonderful service. This gorgeous little hotel had everything I needed and most importantly dedicated staff who made my stay comfortable and welcoming.
