The property is old and needs maintenance. The staff were very very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was alright. We found boiled stale eggs that were probably past expiry date. But the staff were nice enough to replace them when asked.

Nice Independent Hotel - A Little Pricey

This was a nice little hotel. Large room and comfortable bed. A little expensive but this is typical of Thompson hotels in general.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. A normal, even average motel. Not dirty but not crazy clean either. The outside area immediately around the motel had all kinds of homeless people gathering, but did not feel unsafe. Rooms were OK. Breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, bagels, cereal, milk, juices, coffee and tea). Walking distance to shops.

Cheap but old, comfy mattress, area felt sketchy

Hotel was ok, Room was cute, but everything seemed pretty old. Mattress very comfortable. We arrived in the evening and when we unloaded our personal stuff, we noticed quite a few personalities hanging around the parking lot/Hotel, watching us. We didn’t feel like this was a safe place to park a fully loaded truck for moving so we found a different spot in town.
