The best time to visit Thoisy-Le-Désert is during the warmer months, specifically from May to September, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring the Burgundy region.

These months offer comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with plenty of sunshine. This is ideal for outdoor activities such as exploring the local vineyards, taking leisurely walks through the countryside, or visiting nearby châteaux. The longer daylight hours also allow for more extensive sightseeing.

For those interested in wine tasting and vineyard tours, late summer and early autumn (August and September) are particularly good. This period coincides with the grape harvest, offering a unique opportunity to see the region's winemaking traditions in full swing. Many local festivals also take place during this time, celebrating the harvest and local produce.

While July and August are the warmest months and excellent for outdoor pursuits, they can also be the busiest.
