This is the view you get along the hike to go INSIDE a volcano. Such beautiful scenery made for a very enjoyable hike! I was questioning weather or not this would be awesome or more hype/cool in theory... But after doing it it was easily my favorite tour from my trip in Iceland and the most incredible experience!!! Words simply can describe the beauty and energy of going inside a volcano. It's about a 45min hike (#hike) over lava fields and some patches of snow in my case to get to "base camp". (Or you can take a helicopter up, but honestly the hike is pretty awesome). There you get put into smaller groups that take turns going inside. You get plenty of time inadequate (about 45min), and the guides are super knowledgeable! I learned so much! Not to mention the ones we had we extremely friendly and funny too. This was such an enjoyable tour. Do not hesitate to book this!! Especially since they may be closing it soon (and it's only been open for 4 years, so quite the rare unique truly one in a life time experience).
