The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. "Our stay was fine, we had the 5-twin room for 4 of us and it was comfortable. The kitchenette had a hot plate, fridge, electric kettle, and microwave. Hand and dish soap was included. Good location too with a Kronan grocery right across the street. Due to a flat tire out by Kirkjufell, we didn't arrive until 2am, and since it's self check in, it was fine. Only issues were 1) the keypad to enter the room was difficult to learn to use (my first time trying to enter the room, I locked myself out for a minute with an alarm sound and everything), 2) the shower leaked into the bathroom, a lot, and although there is also a drain under the sink, the floor was very wet after every shower (great hot water though!), 3) because we had the flat tire and were arriving very late, I messaged the property though VRBO to make sure a VERY late (2am) check in was OK but I never heard a thing back from them, 4) the clothes washer on our floor worked fine (detergent was included) but the dryer didn't dry, and we tried 3 different cycles! A few hours later, we just had to hang clothes around the room to dry them. All in all it was fine, we'd stay again."
