Only there for one night. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location to walk to restaurants or other sites. Hotel built in the 1920's apparently and I felt like I was back in another era which I thought was cool.

Excellent stay

We loved staying at Hotel Luxembourg, the suite was brilliant with the sofa and balconies. So lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was very good and the hotel being in a central location we were able to explore the city easily.

Convenient location

The location was very good. The only drawback is that the rooms are quite small and the bath did not have any shower curtain or something to block the splashes

Nice and incredibly fast check-in was a good start to our stay at Hotel Luxembourg. The location is also great, a block from the harbor and with many amenities nearby. The room had its good and bad sides. It was clean, the bed was good, the bathroom was a good size and the internet worked well. On the negative side, the lack of closets with shelves so I could empty my suitcase. With storage space, the size of the room would not have been a problem. Now it became a bit small when I had to open my suitcase all the time. It was also a bit sad and boring with only a few very narrow windows facing the backyard. I would have liked to have had a bit more of a view! Breakfast was included. Which is good. And it was absolutely OK, although not top-notch.

The hotel is in an amazing area near the water and many fun shops and restaurants.staff were helpful and cheery. Unfortunately the room was horrible. The “view” was a dark concrete hole with pigeons that never stopped their horrible cooing. 24/7. Bathroom had just a tub and a hose so you sort of sit there and try not to spray water everywhere. Room 109. Should probably be a gym or meeting room instead.

Not Exactly What I Expected

Booked the room for a 3 night stay in Thessaloniki with 3 people. I assumed the room would be large enough to make it work, but the room would’ve been on the smaller side even for two people. The biggest complaint I have is with the temperature control in the room. It seems like there is no AC in the room, just a fan trying its best. I think that’s just a European thing, but I don’t understand how people deal with it when it gets truly hot in the summer months. Aside from that, the location was excellent. There are a ton of restaurants and bars nearby and you are maybe 5 minutes from Aristotelous square. The staff were also very friendly and helpful while we were there, and the breakfast was nothing extravagant, but it was nice to have and wasn’t bad by any means. If you’re a single traveler or traveling with one other person, this should definitely work for you assuming you’re ok with the nights being on the hot side. If you have more than two people, you should really consider booking a larger room or multiple rooms.

It was not the type of properties I usually stay in, last minute booking, was bit off to discover but the staff attitude was so pleasant made me just continue and I was impressed and checked out with a smile. Breakfast was a surprise, better than few of the 5 stars hotels I usually stay in

Average hotel but great staff. Cudos to them. Hotel needs further upgrade. If they would fix it a bit it would be great. Great location. Not so great breakfast. Beds small for two people. I payed 80 euros for a night which is OK considering all.

Good location

The location is great for eating and shopping as well as tourist attractions. My room was really hot (winter) and I had trouble sleeping because of it. The room door was light and all noise from the hallway bothered sleeping as well. No noise from outside aa my room was facing inside the buildings. Breakfast ok.

Çok memnun kaldık

Çok memnun kaldık. Otelin konumu harika. Otel eski ama yenilemişler ve bence gayet modern düzenlenmiş. Odamız temiz ve yeterliydi. Klimalar çok iyi çalışıyor. Kahvaltıda bence doyucuydu yeterli miktarda herşey vardı. Tekrar gelsem yine tercihim burası olur kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum.

Bir geceliğine işlerimi halletmek üzere Selanik’te kalmam gerekti. Otelin lokasyonu mükemmel. Hemen bitişiği güzel kafe bar ve restoranlarla çevrili. Meydana 100 metre. Oda küçüktü ve manzarası yoktu ama rezervasyon yaparken bunları zaten biliyordum. Banyosu gayet temiz ve yeterli, personel güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi.
