"My partner and I were driving from Virginia to Arizona and needed a comfortable, reliable place to rest in Albuquerque before our final stretch. This hotel turned out to be exactly what we needed!
From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly efficient and easy to work with. They were also wonderfully accommodating of our 11-year-old dog. We really appreciated that they have clear expectations for pet behavior (including that dogs can’t be left alone), but for our mellow senior pup who mostly naps in her bed, it couldn’t have been a better fit.
The aesthetic of the hotel was an unexpected delight—thoughtful, cohesive, and full of charming details that show just how much care went into creating the space. After days on the road, walking into a place that felt both stylish and welcoming made all the difference.
Overall, it was a smooth, restful stay and the perfect pause on our cross-country journey. We’d happily stay here again! "
"Room is very nice and the staff were great. We really like the location downtown. We do miss not having a microwave/fridge in the room, but we knew that going in."
"We are Parq Central devotees. In addition to the basic requirements of any good hotel (comfortable beds, well-designed rooms, pleasant staff), this one has loads of character and charm. Somehow a hospital from the 1920s has been transformed into a boutique hotel property for the 2020s with true personality.
All the decor in the rooms and common areas is beautifully integrated with the old structure. The staff couldn’t be friendlier. You have free parking in the heart of town; a lovely park view of cottonwood trees out back; an imaginative breakfast; even a hot tub tucked away. And don’t forget the rooftop bar—the Apothecary Lounge—with concoctions that will tickle your funny bone and put you in the pink.
Yes, we’ll be back, and I can’t wait."
"Gorgeous place but, the surroundings to one side is pretty sketchy for women travelling alone. However, once you are in the hotel, you are completely safe as the parking is gated and locked, and the hotel entrance is a key entrance for guests only."
