"Diana’s home was one of the cleanest rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Along with it, no strong chemical cleaning smell either. The home really was the highlight of the trip. Having a young family we were primarily on the beach or in the home. It was lovely to cook and spend quality time in. Comfy beds, robes, a fantastic beach wagon, and a gorgeous master suite screened in porch with fans. An easy walk to beach and boardwalk too! Diana’s communication was beyond. I highly recommend renting from her!"

"This was a beautiful B&B to stay at! Parking and check in was so easy, as lol the information is sent to you ahead of time. So you can just go straight to your room with no formal check in or out. The property was just right next to multiple places to eat and just two blocks from the beach. Communication was also easy by using their text number."

"The waterfront and porch are exactly what they should be for decompressing. The king bed is genuinely comfortable, and the place is well-stocked for a relaxing weekend. Clean, responsive host, pet-friendly, and at this price point it's a solid value if you're looking for a functioning waterfront base.One thing worth knowing upfront: Tina and her family live in the main house next door. They're considerate about the shared dock and property, and their friendliness is real, not performative. But if you're looking for complete privacy or seclusion, this cottage isn't it. For us, the trade-off was worthwhile.We did notice a faint smoke smell that others have mentioned, but it's subtle. We were also there during the July 4th heat wave when severe storms knocked out power, though there was nothing Tina could have prevented. (We're campers so we had emergency lighting, but the house could benefit from having some on hand for guests in that scenario.)Solid spot if you want a waterfront weekend without breaking the bank, especially if you're bringing pets."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at William and Sharon's home! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much thought and care had gone into making it a beautiful, comfortable place to relax.The view is simply incredible, and we spent so much time enjoying it from the magnificent front porch. It was the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning and unwind in the evening.The house itself was spotless and beautifully decorated. Every room felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the double-head shower felt like a luxury after a day at the beach. As a woman, I especially appreciated having a vanity—it was such a thoughtful touch that made getting ready so much easier.My husband was thrilled with the large TVs, and we both loved how comfortable and inviting the entire home felt. It's clear that William and Sharon have gone above and beyond to create a place where guests can truly relax and feel at home.If you're looking for a beautiful, clean, and exceptionally well-appointed place to stay at Colonial Beach with amazing views and wonderful hosts, we couldn't recommend this home more highly.
