The entire property was very clean, well-maintained, and organized, which made us feel relaxed throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. What truly made our experience even better was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. A special thanks to the lady in the breakfast area who went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome each morning. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and hardworking, and her positive attitude really stood out. The breakfast area was also very clean and well-stocked, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and inviting. We truly appreciated the excellent customer service and hospitality. "Rooms were disgusting. I don’t know when the last time they were deep cleaned. Stains were all over walls and carpet even in hallways leading to room. Elevator was in horrible shape with vandalism. Every single door to each room look like they had been busted down. Every room smelled like smoke and marijuana. Just overall poorly kept and maintained. Rooms were like 80 degrees when we got there and the AC looked like it had been pieced together."

"I had read all the reviews concerning The Walden before I booked 4 nights. People complained of watery eggs, only one elevator working, lack of hot water, on and on! My wife and I experienced none of that. Excellent breakfast with staff member refilling items constantly, both elevators operating every day, hot water, clean room. Easy check-in and out with friendly staff. This is a bargain in the area."
