"Our stay here was for an on-site wedding. The event was well run, food was lovely and staff were good.
The area around was lovely, safe enough for children to have a run around. I liked that the evening disco in one room and there were other areas if you wanted to sit out, chat with friends and family
Our room was comfortable, the decor is quirky but "

The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Plenty of parking available, which felt secure. Unfortunately, there are no EV charging points for guests—only three reserved for staff.
The room was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom felt a little dated (but perfectly functional). The golf course was fantastic and is clearly the main attraction of the hotel.
Staff were friendly and efficient throughout. The spa facilities were fairly basic, with just a sauna and steam room—both clean, slightly dated, but working well. The jacuzzi by the pool was in good condition, the pool itself was lovely, and the gym was well equipped.
Dinner was very enjoyable—I had steak and chips, which were excellent. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel and would be happy to return."
"I've stayed at Ramada many times on work trips to Oxford. I advise choosing a room on the upper floor because on the ground floor you may hear stomping around late at night in the room overhead. There are also humming machines in a courtyard outside the ground floor windows - maybe that's the air heating system. In the room itself there's everything you need: clean shower room, white towels, free wifi, bedside lights, plug sockets, kettle with cups and tea bags etc. The bad reviews seem to come from people who expect a hotel. In fact it's a motel close to the M40 motorway and on the site of the Welcome Break services. I like its convenience, parking at £5 per night and lack of fuss. "
"Good hotel. Go to the Redbridge Park and ride site to park your car and get two return bus tickets into the city centre for £5 of you are sight seeing. Good deal. "
"Excellent stay.
Rooms - spacious, clean and large 50 inch TV is great.
Breakfast - fantastic. Nice veggie sausages and excellent hash browns - English breakfast was excellent. Only thing that could be improved is having cheese in the breakfast.
Swimming pool/spa - pool a bit shallow, but otherwise fine. Would have been incredible if there were a jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna are both great.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
On check in I left a review about the lack of toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser), and the next day the staff left these in the room for us, which show good attention to detail and to feedback, which is well appreciated.
Will definitely be returning!"
"On check in we were gifted an upgrade and given the option of two rooms which was quite unexpected. The staff were happy and chatty with us. We had a meal in the Thai restaurant which was really delicious. Nothing really to fault"
