"Summary: Place could use a bit of an upgrade. Front desk staff needs training in customer service. Would not recommend for a stay longer than 24 hours. The good: -free parking and plenty available -near to shops and restaurants in downtown tuscaloosa -near to the Riverwalk -refrigerator (albeit small) in room The less good: -rooms are not cleaned consistently. Dirty floors at check-in -room service took over 45 minutes to get food even though a call was made down to the front desk to follow up -minimal drawer space -bathroom wastecan is not lined (just ewww) -check in and front desk help was apathetic (not welcoming) -bathroom lighting needs to be brighter for real use (like putting on makeup)"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fantastic weekend of lounging on the dock, making food in the well stocked kitchen, and relaxing in nature at this amazing property! Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on the lake! Plenty of space for our family and the outdoor shower was fabulous!"

"This place is so well constructed and decorated. All the amenities were well chosen and plentiful. The outdoor spaces were just delightful! With a wrap around deck and a screened in gazebo with a big deck— both overlooking the river, it was expansive and peaceful. We had a graduation dinner for our family and everyone had a great time.We got lost on the way in, and our host, Renee, sent her sweet mom to guide us in. We recommend the Chalet to anyone who enjoys the healing presence of water and graceful surroundings."
