"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view and the location on the water was perfect and the home was beautiful. The pictures of the home honestly don’t do it justice. It’s a fantastic space that is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. We brought our kayaks and were able to use the paved road/launch next to the house to put them in the water. Easy access for that for sure and a lovely lake for paddling. We used the gas bbq grill both nights and enjoyed the cool breeze and the view from the porch. It was a wonderfully relaxing time on the water. "

"We stayed with our kids ages 2, 5 & 9. We drove to Tuscaloosa each day for a camp which was only a short drive across the bridge. The kids loved the bunk beds and indoor play area. They all slept through the night all week in the bunk beds, and they enjoyed the indoor play area every day! The only thing that would have made the stay even better was if the hot tub pricing was included with the rental price. It does state this on the listing so we were aware of the extra fee, but we were unsure if we’d use the hot tub or not for the week and you can’t add it on once you’re there. It would have been nice as an option to have already included and ready for us to use. Otherwise, the house was clean, lots of kitchen supplies were available and the neighborhood is in a nice, quiet area. Too shallow to swim off the dock area, but there are 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks to explore the private lake. We had a great stay!"

"This property was the perfect size and location for our family of four, traveling with our dog. Upon arrival, we did have some concerns over the condition that the previous guests had left the property, but our host was incredibly responsive. He offered to send over the cleaning crew and even sent some new cookware via Instacart. We really appreciated the excellent customer service. "
