"This little slice of heaven in the farmland of Scotland was a really lovely place to stay for a few nights- wish we could have stayed longer! My daughter was shocked to hear my husband say when we arrived "What an idyllic place!" There was plenty of space for the three of us, the home was clean and neat, and the beautiful yard was a joy to look out at. Having both a washer and dryer was a plus!"

"We absolutely LOVED this cottage, it truly was like a scene from a Jane Austin book. My teenaged daughter couldn’t stop raving about the setting. Plus there was a window seat so she could sit in the seat and read while she watched the rain. The only drawback is that we didn’t stay longer so that we could do more exploring in the woods and the town. It is about a mile and a half from the beach for the more adventurous. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen is very well-appointed. There is a combo washer/dryer, but as with most of these types of machines, the dryer didn’t get things terribly dry, so I ended up hanging a lot of the wash after it had already been in the dryer for an hour or two, but the washing machine itself worked very well. The washer and the dryer does get very hot, and I never found a way to get actual cold tap water, so be careful with clothing that needs cold water. I will admit however that I have never really used these types of units before so it could have been user error. Anyway we will hopefully some day return and stay for longer."

It had everything you could possibly need and more.The enclosed garden was safe and secure for the dogs to room freely.Great location for day trips in surrounding villages and towns, all less than 30 minutes drive time.We would highly recommend this property."
