"Definitely overpriced for the condition of the rooms. Our room had marks and stains on the walls and floors. (Many of which I was able to clean with disinfectant wipes so basic hotel cleaning is lacking.) The bathroom has mildew in the shower and multiple cockroaches were found in the room during our stay. It smelled horrible but we coped with a strong candle and room spray. Breakfast staff was lacking as both coffee machines were down and she was unaware because she was in the back area on her phone. Positives- breakfast area was well stocked with grab and go items, which we appreciate when staying in Jacksonville for medical appointments. Staff was receptive and friendly."

"John is a great host, very responsive to any needs. All rooms are very clean. The master bedroom is awesome with the big tv in it and access to the patio and pool. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anybody wanting to visit the St John’s area."

"The house was very clean. It has lots of space and was really comfortable. The sheets were really soft and beds where nicely made. The pool was clean and refreshing. The back patio also had some nice games for family entertainment. Neighborhood felt safe. Location was nice as it's just 5 minutes for the grocery store or food. Id stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which we immediately appreciated.A few highlights from our trip:Host: John was excellent and very responsive. Climate Control: The AC worked perfectly, keeping the entire home cool and comfortable throughout our stay.• Sleep Quality: The beds were exceptionally comfortable—we all slept very well!• Location: The setting was ideal and made getting to our planned activities incredibly easy.This was a great find, and the home provided everything we needed for our visit. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The management company needs to remove listing and spend some time cleaning, repairing, and maintaining the home. Kitchen and bathroom equipment (pots/pans/hairdryer) reminds me of leftovers you would use in a second home, not an income generating rental property. The exterior does not look tidy like it is in the pictures. Dead vegetation in yard beds, most likely from the black grasshopper infestation. Roof valley and gutters at front door are overflowing with debris. Hot tub was disgusting with chunks of brown material and sludge on surface. I contacted the mgmt company, was told it was cleaned but the water was never clear during our stay so I was too afraid to use it. Shower did not work in one of the downstairs bathrooms. Pieces of popcorn ceiling in the other downstairs bathroom fell on me while taking a shower. Some towels were musty, some looked like you would use them to wash your car. There was a hole in the wall in the dining room and areas of baseboard were missing throughout house.Three of the five exterior trash cans were full, but in their defense could not tell what day trash is collected. To end on a positive note, the layout of the home was roomy, and the a/c in the home was the best part of the stay once we figured how to lower the thermostat. Show the home some attention and it will be a gem."
