"When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful.
The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus"
"The rooms were fresh and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom was very well designed with a great shower and twin sinks.
The breakfast was amazing with fresh products and great locally sourced ingredients for the cooked option."
"Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early."
"It's a Hostel, so as you'd expect basic "cheap as chips" accommodation. It is clean, convenient & no riff-raff. More than adequate for our purposes. Be advised though that if you are returning after a day/night out, the hill up to the hostel is a killer! Would recommend & will return."

"This was booked for my parents wedding anniversary. They thoroughly enjoyed it. They don’t usually sleep well in their 70s and set in their ways with ailments etc but they said their room was wonderful and thoroughly enjoys their stay. "
"Our recent stay at The Old Silent Inn was simply magical—a truly perfect slice of Yorkshire country life! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by this 400-year-old inn, which manages to blend historic character with comfortable, modern amenities.
The location is exceptional, nestled quietly just a short distance from Haworth, in the stunning Bronte Country. For walkers, it's an absolute dream, sitting right near the Pennine Way and only three miles from the historic village of Haworth and the famous Brontë Parsonage Museum."
"Genuinely friendly welcome and a very comfortable, clean room - all of which I needed after a long, hard day on the Pennine Way. Arrived too late to eat in the evening but breakfast was terrific. Would thoroughly recommend the Alma. "
"Fantastic weekend break in Colne for my partners birthday. The place couldn't have been more perfect - The sauna in the bedroom and large hot tub outside were fantastic additions - the place itself was huge and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable with USB ports and plug sockets built into the bedside tables, the sofa in the living room was also very comfortable and both the living room and bedroom had huge tvs to enjoy when the weather wasn't great in the evenings! The hosts very kindly (and at very late notice) arranged for some birthday balloons to be added as well as leaving a lovely basket of snacks for our arrival. Very private and quiet despite being just off a busy road, overlooking the trees to the rear. Whilst staying we visited two fantastic restaurants nearby (Eight by the Gazegill - around 20 minute drive) and Fabellos in Foulridge (Around 5-10 minute drive) - Colne itself is nice to have a wander around with plenty of places to stop for a drink and plenty of lovely places to go walking. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting - Thank you very much for having us!"
