"We stayed here for two nights and wish we’d had a third! We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. "I originally booked a Vang Vieng Night Market resort(former Confetti garden resort). When I arrived at the the resort, a female staff let us check-in. She told me that the resort had been closed down due to a storm 3 days before and I had to move to Confetti hotel, about 10 minutes away on foot from the original resort that I had booked. They never let me know what had happend through an e-mail or phone call. What an embarrassing situation it was! We were transferred to Confetti hotel unhappily....

"A great choice in Vang Vieng. The shipping container rooms are novel, comfortable, clean and cool. (I think Mr Kong is a bit of a genius.) Good AC, comfortable beds, nice showers, OK breakfast (but you'll need to grab a decent coffee nearby at Kiwi, or a 10 minute walk to wonderful Naked). The location is great. "The location was great. However, the staff (particularly the owners) were not so friendly or helpful. We started in a balcony city view and upgraded to the mountain view (which was better). The wifi was ok, water warm enough - pressure not great. A bit run down and minimal in decor. We asked for room service after the second night it never happened. We brought our own garbage down and asked for more single use soaps... as needed. Was ok - Id look around for better"
