"We stayed at DaTea for 12 nights in early August. It is located in the quiet village of Olzai, right in the middle of the island, far from massive hotel complexes and mass tourism, while all the surrounding beaches are easily reachable by rental car within an hour or two. We got to visit a different beach each day. The stay was incredibly pleasant; everything was new and clean, and the landlady is an absolute gem! We would love to come back!!!"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Teti?
The best time to go to Teti, Sardinia, is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

For couples and solo travellers seeking pleasant weather for outdoor activities, these periods offer comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C. This is ideal for exploring the surrounding Gennargentu National Park, hiking the numerous trails, or visiting local archaeological sites without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the countryside green and lush, with fewer crowds than during the peak summer season.

Families travelling with children might also find these shoulder seasons more enjoyable. The milder weather makes outings to places like the Nuraghe di Teti or the Museo Archeologico di Teti more comfortable for younger visitors. Accommodation prices tend to be more favourable than in July and August, offering better value without compromising on the quality of your experience.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if cancelled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Teti.

Booking an Expedia hotel and flight package is another great way to save, where bundling can result in significant savings. *Excludes taxes and fees.
