"The hotel was great. Everyone was helpful and kids had a great time. "

"Room was ok. Nothing special. A bit dated Check in took a long time (i feel) about 15 mins. Then sent us to a dirty room. After another 15 more mins they found us a clean room. "

"We got to our room very late in the early morning hours drove 11 hours and then found that we could not get into our room the door key would not work. It took staff over 30 minutes to get us into our room and then they still could not leave us a door key to get back into our room if we needed to leave and come back. Very inconvenient for us. Someone had to stay in room to let the other in if needed to leave. No offer from front desk to make it right with us. Wish they would remember we are the customer. I believe they need to be more on top of maintenance. It might have been clean but if you can get into room to enjoy some sleep from a long trip then to me it’s not worth staying."

"Host was very communicative and helpful. Home was adequate for our needs, but it is an old home in the middle of the country, so there are some (literal) bugs and the quirks to the home (unlevel, sloped floors). But it suited our needs, was well-stocked with fans and space heaters and basic supplies, and was in close proximity to Nauvoo. "

"Check in was good, staff was nice. Room was clean, bathroom was not. Ended up finding a bed bug. Reported to desk manager next morning who was not friendly. Tried to follow up with hotels.com and could not get anyone to assist me. "

"The only negative would be that there were a lot of steps! A lot of steps leading into the house and then a lot of steps leading up to the room. This will not keep us away and I understand it’s the makeup of the house. Beautiful home."
