"The hosts were nothing but most hospitable. The second we arrived, and as we were greeted, it felt like home right away. The home was beautiful. Clean, organized with all the amenities anyone could ask for. The best part of our stay, was meeting and spending quality time with our amazing co-hosts Sheryl and Gian Paolo. "This is an extraordinary place to stay. Utterly beautiful views at all times, in all directions. The walk through vineyards and olive groves into Vinci is a pleasure, and the little town is a lovely example of Tuscany, with added interest of Leonardo. Easy to reach Pisa, Siena, Florence, San Gimingnano and the Ligurian coastal towns by car from here. Surrounding countryside and villages just stunning, especially along the Montebalno ridge. The accommodation was immaculate and fully equipped. The staff were helpful and friendly. The farm workers unobtrusive. And we loved the resident horses, too.. Breakfast was delicious but veey Italian - all coffee and cake - so not really to our tastes. Unlike the wines, which were lovely (their reds are better than their whites). We cannot praise this place enough. Go!"

"There was only 3 of us staying so we had more room than we needed. The villa is set out on 5 floors so a fair few steps involved. At the bottom there was a loung and kitchen. The other floors are bedroom. They are themed bedrooms with pictures etc. from the owners collection. Very impressive. There are a lot of step and it's not geeared for the less mobile. but the terrace is lovely, cool and breezy when we went. Great to sit out of an evening, with mozzie protection!Aircon is all bedrooms but TBH you are better of leaving the windows open as the breeze is far better and the aircon is too noisy for me to sleep with.Car is essential. Local store has most things but too hot to walk there. supermarket is about 20mins away. More step to the swimming pool through a small olive orchard. But well worth it. fantastic views. thankfully there shade up there as well. Watch out for the sunset. that's nice with a glass of wine!"
