🔥 **Outdoor BBQ (Seasonal: May-Oct):**
Indulge in outdoor dining and cozy evenings by the firepit with our BBQ setup on the spacious patio. Outdoor burner and lobster pot available upon request. Absolutely NO cooking seafood or food with strong aromas in the home, as there is no ventilation to remove the odour for the next guests. Extra cleaning fees will apply. It will be the guest’s responsibility to ensure the BBQ is cleaned after each use.

Electric Vehicle Charging 🚗

EV charging is available with prior approval for $15 per night. Please contact us before using the property’s electricity to charge an electric vehicle. EV charging is not included in the nightly rental rate.

A Note About Our Rural Setting 🌿

The TenMile House is located in a beautiful rural, farm setting. As with any country property, guests may occasionally encounter insects, mosquitoes, or other small wildlife, particularly during the warmer months. We have regular pest control and take every reasonable measure to keep the home comfortable for our guests, but we can’t completely control what nature brings our way.

Please note that the occasional presence of insects or small wildlife is a normal part of staying in a rural setting and is not grounds for a refund.

We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the peacefulness and charm of our rural surroundings!

🚫 **House Rules & Other Notes:**
Please adhere to our house rules, including minimum age requirements (21), no pets policy, and no parties or events allowed. Absolutely NO cooking seafood or food with strong aromas in the home, extra cleaning fees apply. No parties or events on the Tenmile House property, this will result in extra charges or an early termination of your stay. Additionally, kindly leave the beds unstripped to ensure all linens are stain-free.

🔑 **Check-In/Check-Out:**
Check-in and check-out times are set for your convenience: Check-in at 4:00 PM, Check-out at 11:00 AM, with keyless entry providing hassle-free access.

🧹 **Checking Out:**
Before departure, please tidy up and return borrowed items to their original condition. If you're leaving early, let us know so we can get the cleaning crew in early to accommodate the next guests and offer them an earlier check-in time.

We provide a generator for power outages, but we do not refund stays due to these elements, so embrace the beauty of island life during your stay.
Guest access
If any members of your group arrive before you do, kindly ensure they have their door access code handy. We are unable to share the code with anyone other than the individual who made the booking.
