There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. "The room was clean, but small. The shower was super tiny, but I knew this was an old building, so I didn't expect huge open spaces. The decor was cute, and the breakfast options were good. There was an issue with the electricity in my room the first night. Only 2 outlets worked, the one in the bathroom, and the one that the air conditioner was plugged into. It wasn't a huge deal. I was able to get an extension cord so I could plug in my electronics. I checked in later, so I did bring it up with the front desk. They tried to switch breakers and check plugs, but were unable to fix it. They did have electricians out the next morning that took care of the issue. The staff was very friendly, and was genuinely apologetic for the electricity issue. That being said, I kinda feel like the amount of extension cords they use around the place are a fire hazard, but that is only my opinion. Both of the parking lots were fine. The area was a little bit sketchy around dark for a single traveler, but I never felt in danger. There were several bars around, so that may have fed into it, as well is a food pantry across the street. It seems there are a lot of un-housed people in that area, but I had no issues, or felt unsafe."
