"The room was very clean with a beautiful view (36 Carlota). The beach access is second to none. It is meant to replicate some sort of italian town near the sea. In some ways it does do that. The service at the restaurants was spotty at times and the food is uninspiring. Better food can be found in town. The December 24-25 dates may have been part of the problem. On December 24 they simply did not have enough staff to run the restaurants. The food prices at the store on site (Copper & Stone) are ridiculousy high. Believe the reviews about the road leading to the resort: full of very deep potholes. It is 2 miles of very unpleasant riding. You can rent kayaks and paddle boards. The per hour rate is very steep. Would I go again? Yes but I would bring my own food."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home in Playa Potrero. From the moment we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The property is beautifully maintained, with lush, well-designed gardens that create a peaceful and private atmosphere. The pool was a highlight for us and quickly became part of our daily routine, it’s perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.The house itself is very spacious, even for just the two of us, and never felt cramped. Everything was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. We especially appreciated the beach toys and gear provided at the house, which we used almost every day and made our beach time even more enjoyable.This home truly felt like a retreat, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"This house is amazing. It is big and clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is stunning. And it’s on a wide sandy beach that is perfect for morning beach walks. Every evening we watched the sunset from the beach. Jimmy the concierge is friendly and helpful and the chef dinners at the house were better than our restaurant dinners. I can’t recommend it enough.
