Super personalities at the desk. Great location. Tough parking.
chair lift 7 right outside the door. Couldn’t be better for skiing (you must be able to ski on blue or black to get back). Otherwise gondola is a short, scenic walk along the river.
All units at mountainside inn are small and cozy. But this one is nicely updated. And easy access right inside the building. It’s the best priced and most efficient place that I’ve been able to find in telluride over the last couple years.
I really enjoyed staying here. My husband and I and our puppy were able to stay in this beautiful studio. The best part is being right on the river. I am very pleased with this place. I will definitely come to stay here again.
This room have been nicely renovated and in a great part of town. A short riverside walk to the gondola and town. Quiet and very clean. Would definitely recommend it.
Such a great property, Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. We walked to all of our meals easily using the River Trail. Parking in the spare lot was not a problem at all, very convenient. We will be back!
If all you are looking for is a small hotel room with no housekeeping, this will work. If you have 2 people and a dog for 8 nights, it's just too small. Dorm fridge, tiny coffee maker.. Would stay again if by myself and for only a few days.
Just steps from the Coonskin lift. Or you can skate to or from the gondola on the riverwalk. A couple blocks away from Siam, our favorite restaurant in town, or another couple blocks will get you to Clark's grocery store which is always a treat. Great water pressure in the shower (always a plus), roomy bathroom, and a very efficient layout. Loved the "faux fireplace".
The location of this propery is great, close to town and the walking trail by the river. It was somewhat dirty when we arrived, however, and smaller than we were expecting. Size is comparable to a hotel room w/ a small kitchenette. Some of the furniture seemed unneccesary and too big for the space. Bathroom was a great size! But overall a little small for a couple and our dogs. Also something to note, the window shade doesn't keep any light out, so bring an eye mask if you prefer to sleep in darkness.

Nice place but kinda odd
This place has a great location, we walked everywhere the whole weekend. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. However there is wayyy too much furniture in this place. We brought our dog and finding a spot for her medium sized crate was a challenge. Also the kitchen is weirdly stocked? they have a toaster and knifes but no scissors? And we wanted to leave on some YouTube for the dog(spoiled dog we know) and couldn't get the property manager to figure it out for us. We needed a Roku code and we asked the front desk, and a maintenance guy who said they would contact the owners and we never heard back. I didn't realize trying to use YouTube would be such a hassle.
This listing was exactly what we were looking for in Telluride. Close to the main part of town, pet friendly, and affordable. The room was small but more than enough room for two people. The kitchenette had more than we were expecting which was a nice surprise. Check in/out was easy.
This was perfect for just two of us. Cute, warm, cozy, and Great location to telluride town and the gondola, an easy 5-10 min walk to everything. Check in and check out process was super easy! Would highly recommend to anyone!
Location was amazing .. walking distance to everything. Room was super cute and clean; very comfortable. Parking was a little tricky especially since the music festival was in town and more people were there than a typical weekend, but we made it work.
Excellent location especially for the price. Aside from driving to go hiking, I left my car here most of the stay and walked everywhere. Loved that it was pet friendly. Will definitely be back!
Great location. Easy booking. Great price. The staff at the location were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the bed was like a hammock - way too soft.
Can't beat the location, in town of Telluride but steps from lift. Room is nicely decorated & updated. The space is tight, but as long as you understand that going in, it should work well for a couple or another small group. (Second bed is a fold-out twin, but surprisingly comfortable.)

Great spot
The room itself was on the first floor and right by the front door, so there was heavy foot traffic in the hall. The room was very small, but the bathroom was large. There was heavy debris and rubbish under the couch which displayed under par cleaning efforts, probably due to quick turnovers.
Over all, the location to town was awesome and the room was adequate.

Just what we needed
My adult son & I traveled to Telluride for the Brews and Blues festival. We stayed in one of the Mountainside Inn buildings. It was small, but since we were gone all day at the festival, it met our needs. Everything was clean, and we were able to walk to the festival, which was on the other side of town. The negatives: it was high priced considering the small size, and parking was difficult to find, as the property cannot guarantee you will have a parking space during the festival. But these two criticisms are typical for staying in Telluride, as lodging and parking are limited.
