Tardó 6 días en contestar a los correos y WhatsApp q le enviamos para saber el proceso de check in, y tampoco nos cogió el teléfono hasta que llamamos a Holidu para quejarnos y al día siguiente escribió. "He matado 4 cucarachas y 2 hormigueros. Con el calor que hace allí no tiene ni aire acondicionado ni un ventilador. No he podido ni dormir ni del calor y tampoco por cuenta de su vecino que tiene un gallo que canta todos los días a las 6.30 de la mañana y los perros que no paran de ladrar todo el rato. "I loved it, the cactus garden outside my bedroom window, the rustic nature of the place and our host's care and friendliness. The place was clean, with a well equipped kitchen including a water filter tap. Lovely to be able to light a fire in the stove when chilly in the evening. Gautiza is very pretty and quiet. Discovered an area to swim nearby towards the end of the trip. And a wonderful coastal walk. The location is great. Highly recommend Sylvia's as a place to stay. "

"This is a unique place to stay, large, comfortable and well-equipped. The very ensuite bathroom might not suit everyone, as it's a screened off part of the bedroom, though spacious and has a very good shower. It's mostly very quiet here, though might not be if guests sharing the courtyard are not quiet. There are no restaurants or shops with easy walking distance, but the roads are mostly good and seem to be liked by cyclists. "

"We have just returned from our new year break at the hotel which was booked last minute. On arrival we were offered any drink whilst we had our booking checked and the staff were super friendly. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived earlier than check in time but we used the hour to familiarise ourselves with the hotel and the local area. We booked a sea view suite which was marvellous though did ask for robes, tissues and iron and ironing board which were brought up to the room straight way. We had booked on a B and B basis but as we were staying over New Year the gala dinner on NYE was included and was amazing . Nati and the team were fantastic and so accommodating and friendly, they really work hard at ensuring the guests have a great time and are fed well! The entertainment on NYE was fun . We loved the saxophonist, flame dancer who was also the compare and great and the ABBA ladies who had everyone up dancing! The atmosphere was wonderful. The pools were pretty chilly despite two being heated but we didn’t mind. Invigorating is the word! Plenty of sun loungers and the place was never crowded just as we like it. We had gone to chill out and regroup ready for 2026 and the place is perfect for this. It is not for those looking for nightly rowdy entertainment nor big loud groups. There isn’t any music around the pool areas during the day which was fine for us as we listened to our own via headphones. The hotel is immaculate. We loved our stay and will return! Thank you "
