"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. A superb location with lovely garden views. Very serene, grand setting. Our room was in the China wing, beautiful room, very cosy. The common lounge room was inviting and grand, in fact the whole place is grand! Breakfast was excellent, select a cooked choice from the menu. Cereal, toast and juice alway available at buffet. Staff are lovely and well received at reception. Plenty of car parking. A delightful stay. Will stay longer next time. Love it.

Somewhat quiet. The owner was vwry nice and welcoming. Riim was adequate however it was small so luckiky we did not take up our suitcases. A small fridge was provided which was useful. What would have also been been useful was a jug or bottle of water. It was very hard to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink. We couldny understand why the bed was unusually warm and a bit sticky. Is the plastic under the mattress protector necessay? Nice stay.
