"Fab place to stay at a reasonable cost, everything you need for a comfy get away, town less than 10mn away, location was superb, short 2mn walk to the best beach for a quick dip, neighbours not too close will be booking again, thank you Steffan"

"Everything is absolutely amazing I can't express how I feel into words about the whakatane riverside camp grounds would I recommend to family and friends and if people are in need and are looking for some where to stay I would and say go and go back again i had a clean room the staff are real helpful genuine people I see a dog roaming around might be just the dog real placid but pet friendly place as well thank you whakatane riverside camp grounds"

"The motel may look a big aged but trust the owner is doing the best to keep up with the standard and welcome the guests. We had two days stay in the two bedroom unit, it was well equipped with the comfy furniture in the lounge, big fridge in the kitchen, accessible bathroom. enough beds to accommodate two families or family with adult children, handy beach access for the morning/evening walks. we certainly enjoyed our stay in the motel, will stay again when we are in the area next time too."
