"Really nice, cosy cottage with everything you would need for a stay in Fiordland. Great location with the lake and the cafes/shop just 5-10 min walk away. Outside BBQ area was really cool and the house was very nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend to anyone. "

"This was the most gorgeous and quirky place to stay. We loved the heritage features and the creative atmosphere that has really shown off the fact that the owner has a good imagination. Consider a combination of an old convent building, beautiful spacious grounds, and then add a dollop of Alice in Wonderland. We were very happy with our stay in the bishops cottage, loved the location, and will come back to stay here as soon as we can plan another visit to Te Anau."
