It’s a poor hotel and very expensive, bad combo

To be honest, I think this is a poor hotel. It really needs some modernising and is very expensive for what you get. This was exacerbated by a somewhat poor customer service experience. I told the staff in the morning that the shower was not working very well. This was, I don’t think, a new issue as there were multiple faults (drainage issues, broken attachments) and was told merely that they’d look into it. I sincerely doubt I was the first person to mention this. When I asked for a coffee I was told this was impossible as breakfast didn’t open for 10 more minutes. It’s not the biggest deal in the world, but you’d hope for better at the price paid for this place. It’s run down, needs some decorative attention and they need to reassess how they care for their guests. Won’t return.

Dejligt hotel, hyggeligt indrettet, flink værtinde, så jeg kommer gerne igen. Eneste minus er, at restauranten var lukket den dag vi kom, og det var byens andre restauranter også. Hvor ville jeg dog ønske, at hotels.com viste, hvornår hotellernes restauranter er åbne, for vi har flere gange været ude for, at de var lukket.

lovely owners...helped in several extra ways to make us comfortable. Their restaurant on sight was really good and I always ended our dinner with the soufflé which needs to be ordered at the beginning of the meal. They are beautiful and delicious.

Très bon séjour, excellent rapport qualité /prix un petit déjeuner extra avec des produits frais et locaux. Un seul bémol, 2 expressos pris avant de partir à 6 euros qui nous avaient été annoncés gratuits lors du petit déjeuner. Même si nous avons mal compris, 3€ l'expresso nous a semblé bien cher dans un hotel 3* à Tavel

Manglende service og information

Værelset lå øverst oppe med besværlig adgangs forhold med smalle trapper og døre. Aircondition virkede ikke på trods af at det var det varmeste værelse lige under taget. Umuligt at fået en rimelig nattesøvn. Ved modtagelsen nævnte vi at vi gerne ville spise på hotellet, men blev ikke spurgt om en evt bordreservation og blev afvist af personalet da vi ville spise-nu kunne vi ikke få et bord i restauranten

Fremragende restaurant på rustikt hotel

Hotellet er temmelig "rustikt" og vi var uheldige med at få et værelse med et badeværelse i den ene halvdel, der fordrede at man ikke var over 1.20m høj hvis man skulle tage brusebad. Ideelt for to af de syv små dværge, hvis de ikke har noget imod at dele seng. Hotellet har en meget god restaurant som kan anbefales. Morgenmaden er simpelthen under niveau, men vi betalte 150€ for værelset hvilket nok næsten er dobbelt op i forhold til niveauet. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale

Restaurant très bien, logement décevant

Point positifs: restaurant très bien, cuisine raffinée et personnel très prévenant. A recommander! Points négatifs: à notre arrivée, vêtements des personnes précédentes toujours présents dans la chambre. Nous le signalons...et au lieu de s'excuser du désagrément, on appelle les clients "habitués" pour les prévenir et on nous dit que l'on passera les chercher demain matin...cherchez l'erreur. Nous nous trouvions dans une suite aménagée au dernier étage...pas d'eau le matin...on nous annonce que c'est lié à la sécheresse... Déjeuner très bien mais pas de personnel dédié. La dame à l'accueil est en charge de la réception et du déjeuner donc tables pas nettoyées et attente... Bref, une fois pas deux.

This hotel is a work in progress, But having said that - people were pleasant and the building when fully renovated will be magnificent : wide staircases and big exposed wooden beams. Lack of ability to eat on site and basic breakfast bring the score down.

Great hotel for a charming stay

The hotel is as charming and pretty as depicted on the pictures, the breakfast buffet was amazing, however the service was somehow behind: - the computer available for internet was insanely slow - they imposed a check-in by 10pm even though the restaurant still had clients after 11pm, so they could have handled the keys Nice stay overall though, the room was great, with a cute bathroom.

Fint lille hotel med en fremragende restaurant, ligger fint som stop for en tur til Spanien. Det er dog meget "rustikt" og voldsomt dyrt i forhold til f.eks. andre 3-stjernede hoteller i Tyskland. Venligt personale. Området er vinmarker, og folk bruger vist hotellet som base for cykelture i området; sikkert en fin ide.

Quaint Hotel perfect for a country stay.

We stayed for three nights before heading to Barcelona. Our room was big with plenty of room for luggage, we were on the second floor, no lift, this could be hard for some travellers. Breakfast was included, bar and restaurant also on the premises which was handy, no charge for parking. Town very small so as a base for day trips it suited us fine.
