An amazing place to stay; a beautifully restored home with several areas to relax enjoy the view or have a quiet time to rest, read or have chat. Great friendly service and a yummy breakfast included. Would recommend this to couples wanting a quiet stay without little children.

The property and staff were great.
Our only complaint is that the room could use blackout curtains

Many thanks for your stay . We appreciate your support and feedback. We do have blockout curtains you might not notice . It was inside of the curtains.
Any problems please let us know .
All the best
Very interesting and historic house and very comfortable. Local area one side a bit ‘mainroad’ but on the other side a superb view over the water. Quiet.,

Perfect renovated mansion near downtown with views
Beautiful old mansion in a nice residential area near downtown. Extensive modern upgrades inside and out, great views from front patio which is perfect for an afternoon glass of wine before dinner. Owners are attentive and responsive. Breakfast included. Location is an easy 15 walk into town and restaurants and coffee places for early risers. Also very convenient to State Highway 2 to Auckland.

Many thanks for your stay with us and wonderful review , we appreciate your feedback .
A beautiful old Villa in immaculate condition with friendly staff and stunning breakfast. The problems for me were that TV and wifi were only available in public areas which made private calls and computer work difficult. The bedroom was small and had no tea/coffee making facilities although these were readily available in the dining are downstairs. It is a lovely place to stay and within easy walking distance of the CBD - just not ideal for my working need for private wifi.

Enjoyed our stay in this B&B. Room, location and common room were very good. The hosts very friendly and attentive. The hosts have only been there for 7 mths, cooked breakfast could have some room for improvement.

Many thanks for you stay with us,We appriciate your feedbook
This was an excellent choice and exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, cozy, comfortable and a delightful place to stay. The hosts are attentive and really go the extra mile to look after their guests. The wifi was blazing fast and the full cooked breakfast was delicious. The guest rooms are in a separate section from the main house offering the utmost in privacy and allowing guests to come and go as they please independently. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for an alternative to a motel or hotel. It was the highlight of my trip.

It was our first time at the B&B and we were gladly surprised by the property.
Despite its age (it dates from the late 1800's), it is kept in immaculate state by the new owners (Keidi and Alex) and they are really devoted to making the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had a separate tea room with a balcony and sea views.
It is a very quiet location.
The breakfast is generous and of high standard.

Such a lovely place, the owners were very welcoming, we couldn't fault this B & B.
Breakfast was outstanding.
If we were to go back to North Island, we wouldn't hesitate to use this again.
It made our holiday even more memorable.
mega schönes Heritage Hotel mit wunderschönem Blick und Garten. Zimmer und Bad sind sehr klein, aber Frühstücksraum, Terrasse und Gemeinschaftszimmer sind traumhaft schön.

A really cozy guest house overlooking the water. Short stroll from shops and many restaurants on the Strand. The house was charming and breakfast really nice. We enjoyed talking to the other guests.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Nice but slightly overrated
Reality unfortunately doesn’t keep up with pics and advertisement. New owners very willing and friendly, but will still have some way to go to find into B&B business.
Positive: room upgrade without charge due to availability, owners trying their best with recommendations but quite new to the city
Negatives: at the moment the new owners just understand very, very few English; rooms are very noisy (can hear all other guests) and shower very small (at a height of 1.6m)
