Very Hood stay

Nice 1 night stay in Tartu. The location of the hotel is fantastic near the river bank close to shops. Fast check in, decent 7 euros parking, good and clean room and very nice breakfast with lot of options. Would definitely come again.

This hotel is conveniently right next to the bus station, which suit our purpose of arriving and leaving by coach. The room was spacious and clean, we had a good view of the river. It is also close to shopping and dining area, and within very short walking distance to the old town. The staff was friendly and very available. The breakfast was also nicely prepared. We also dined at the restaurant at dinner, the food was delicious as well, they are priced reasonably, especially with the 10% discount for hotel guests. Will recommend this hotel.

You know what you get here.

Nice hotel with great location. Good, basic rooms. Good breakfast. Very functional. Some other Tartu hotels may have more history or a better facilities, and I've tried all of them, but still keep coming back to Dorpat for my short stays.

1 night stopover

Riverside modern hotel and bar adjacent to bus station and shopping centres. Busy street but no major road noise. Short walk to old town or Toome hill. Plenty of space, free breakfast and functioning wifi. Lime green bathroom tiles an acquired taste! Very good value in a surprisingly quiet Tartu, especially given it has Europe Capital of Culture status this year.

Convenient location, next to bus station and practically everything in the city center. Good breakfast. Bathroom could use some more thought. Put a stopper in the sink. There are modern ones that are convenient and don't get stolen. Also, how about some wash cloths? A non-slip mat for the very slippery tile floor in the shower would help. A few disposable plastic cups in the bathroom would be nice. Glass glasses are a bit dangerous in bathrooms where people are walking barefoot. The soap was fine, but extremely difficult to wash off. Perhaps not compatible with the water in Tartu?

With the price I have paid, I can say it’s not worth it. Bed is so uncomfortable, bathroom is outdated and when I’ve arrived, the front desk lady doesn’t even help at all instead she just keep pretending to busy knowing that there’s is mirror behind her and saw her playing on the computer. The other front desk guy is busy but he helped me afterwards.
