Monkton Common Lower bends around Weekley Coppice There are two parts to Weekley Coppice (both with the same name on the map). This is the eastern part. Between the two parts is Monkton Common Higher.

Farmland above Tarrant Monkton I believe that the stripes on this field have been caused by "strip feeding" where the cows have been allowed access to the field one strip at a time.
