Nice place with decent size bedrooms with clean bathroom and a nice pool. The staff is friendly and helped us with all our questions. The place is located walking distance to the plaza and there are plenty restaurants around the area.

The vegetation and rustic design of the hotel makes it beautiful and enjoyable. It's like being inside the rain forrest, but staying at the city. The location is also very convenient, with the main square very close, and also with good restaurants around.

My experience was unique in that I slipped and fell breaking my right radius bone requiring surgery. The staff at the hotel were excellent they assisted me in getting to urgent care and stayed with me helping me get medication for pain. The food was excellent and the pool was refreshing. I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at La Patarashca Hotel for two nights. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The grounds are lush and gorgeous, you’ll feel like your in the jungle! The rooms were basic and the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. Despite that I would book here again. It’s blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The breakfast buffet was generous and I would highly recommend the attached restaurant for dinner.

The property was amazing and the service was excellent. My only one complaint inside the hotel was the fact that there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom and the light in the bathroom was very dim. The hotel is located in a very noisy zone and there was music blasting until 5am. We had a few sleepless nights unfortunately.

If you want to listen music all night, this is the perfect place . (noisy). The tvs doesnt work properly. The pool sometimes looks like a lake...because is so dirty. they promised a free ride to the airport but when i requested it they said me that they could not do it for me because was too early. Be careful if you want to use the pool...the tables coul be "reserved"' etc.

Checking in was a bit rough, as they would not let me in early but when I came back said that they had mistakenly put someone else in my room. I had to wait until 4:30 for them to clean up an alternate, and then move rooms the next day. They were nice enough to comp me the A/C, and didn’t charge for my laundry. The managers know some English, but desk staff doesn’t, so a little patience or some Spanish is helpful. Great courtyard with direct access to two decent restaurants where one can try Amazonian fare. Club noise (base beats) were quite audible in the room and lasted all night (Fri/Sat). Very close to the city center. Overall a good experience for what I was expecting.

The staff are really attentuve people..they helped me out in ao many ways besides just checking me in..the grounds and a bit of paradise even though yoy are in the city...i askex for a room with a/c but also asked for the room less affected by the noise, and they delivered...well done.!!

Hotel muy recomendado

Está en pleno centro de Tarapoto y aun así te hace sentir en medio del bosque. Tanto su cafetería Suchiche como el restaurante Patarashca son de lo mejor en gastronomía que van a poder encontrar no solo en la Amazonía sino del Perú entero.
