Host was happy to talk to us and provide any information about the area. She made us feel at home. She checked on us in person to see if we needed anything. She also communicated with us through email which made me feel more comfortable about my stay. I loved this house. Kids loved playing outside and inside. The view sitting area was terrific. I would love to have a day of just hanging out right there in one of the loungers.
We had the best time sledding and checking out both Angel Fire and Red River. Our host was awesome and super helpful with telling us some local places to take the kids to play in the snow or sled! We will definitely be back!
This lodge was cute and quiet with two wonderful gas stoves for warmth. It is placed nicely in between Red River and Angel Fire ski areas. One minor gripe I have is the address actually takes you to a different lodge about a mile down the way. The directions given are accurate but it would have been nice to know that the routing for the address given was going to be inaccurate
We booked Four Toes because it was minutes between Red River Ski and Angel Fire Resort. Our family of 4, two adults and 2 boys (6yo and 9yo) plus our adult friend had plenty of space to play games, read and make meals. The rooms were great and the boys loved staying in the loft bedroom. Our host was responsive and we would love to return.
Perfect for an extended stay of 5 weeks with different family members coming in. Comfortable for our groups of up to nine. We had adequate parking for UTV's as well as vehicles. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Great set up for playing games and hanging out. Anita was very responsive and answered all questions. Would definitely stay again!
Great place to stay, that was very clean and well stocked with everything that we needed during our 5 day stay. Comfortable furnishings to lounge in following a day of sightseeing and fishing. Anita was a wonderful host to our group, and provided us with perfect communication, prior to, and throughout our stay. 5 stars all the way for the Four Toes Mountain Lodge!
This property was perfectly located for our group of 7 for skiing both Red River and Angel Fire. The home was cozy and comfortable with a well set up kitchen with everything we needed. The hosts were fantastic and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and will be visiting again.

Good location
Lots of room for our 3 generations of family. The kids loved the nooks and hiding places. More than enough rooms to fill every need. The owners and property manager were superb and always available for questions. We were close enough to travel to Angel Fire, Red River, Taos and Sipapou. Hope to stay here again.

First trip to ski New Mexico
Host is very attentive. This house is comfortable and quaint. Great location for accessing multiple resorts. Large mud room is great for putting ski stuff off and on. The kitchen needs a cookware update . We would stay here again. Lovely and affordable!
The property was just as described, clean, and inviting. Had everything we needed for a total of 9 people staying. Anita was accommodating and super nice even when we locked ourselves out one afternoon, totally our fault but she was quick to respond and help! View and location was outstanding being in the mountains and great small town. Already planning our next trip to the area and no need to look at other places as this property was perfect!!
Great home if you’re visiting Angel Fire/Red River
Anita and Curtis were very pleasant to work with and very accommodating. Home was very clean and had more than enough space for our family of five (including three teenagers). Very conveniently located to Angel Fire and Red River - about 1 hour and 20 mins from Taos. Would definitely return
