Honestly exceeding our expectations. Ananyana’s facilities and rooms were clean and much bigger than their photos portray. We had a great stay here.
The food was good and reasonably priced too.

Rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom and so is the pool but this is expected considering the affordable price. It is in forest/jungle surroundings, a short drive to the beach and airport. I might suggest renting a car or having Grab on your phone to get around. The hotel was opened in January, 2025 so it was very new and clean looking with a nice entrance and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is nothing special but gets the job done. I only stayed one night so I was satisfied enough with it. If I stayed longer I can imagine I’d be tired of it after having it twice. The buffet coffee was instant coffee.

The good thing is that it is located inside the Napaling Reef confines. The bad thing is that the community reef guard does not allow even resort guests to swim/snorkel with the sardines outside the normal times.
