"Wrote a lengthy review praising this property up and down & was cut off with a character limit. Just know this- this property is gorgeous and provides every single detail you could imagine. Beautifully decorated and maintained, all while the host goes above and beyond to stay in contact & provide the best experience possible. We had a 1/2 a week here for thanksgiving and created the most amazing memories in thanks to this host. We were able to join 2 families traveling from afar to cook, eat, enjoy family time inside and outside, so seamlessly because this home was so comfy & amazing. Comfy beds, amazing views, amazing kitchens, bathrooms, dining spaces, lounging spaces, TVs galore, games, ample space, fire pit, decks, grill huts, private beach, fresh oysters, lots of towels, new appliances and so much more- so many details provided throughout the homes. We talked about how we would absolutely return to this property. What a fabulous job you've done to give your guests a great experience. Our memories here are epic and this will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you!"

"The house and the property are beautiful, with unobstructed views from all sides. Set away from downtown, it is still close enough to get to everything one would need. The kitchen was great, and we were able to prepare food easily. Definitely a great place to stay."

"Wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Onancock. Everything within walking distance! Surrounded by shops, restaurants, a short 5 min walk to the wharf. The hotel room was quaint and quite lovely. I do wish we'd have been alerted that the bar and restaurants i side would be closed on Sunday Monday tues. Aĺl the days we stayed unfortunately, so i can't review this "amenity ". Check in was done without staff, a simole envelope was awaiting our arrival with a key. The staff was available with a si.ole call for questions, which we did require as a quest locked the main doors and we were locked out of the building. Fast turn around by a very sweet girl came 30 mins later and let us in, as well as made guests aware to please not do this. Rooms were spotless, bed comfortable - Everything we required. Two quick notes. Not negatives, but definitely a "need to be aware". There js no elevator, only stairs. We were on the 3rd floor. So you must bring up your luggage as well as yourself "manually". :) For us no issue, but could be an issue for other guests. On our way out, a sweet elderly woman was checking in and looked quite flustered at the prospect of dragging her luggage up even one flight. My husband gladly offered and all was well. He took luggage, i helped the sweet guest to her room. But isnt this truly what small town living should be? Helping our neighbors. We will most definitely stay again. And we will be back as we fell in love with the area and the locals alik"

"Staff was very friendly. Everyone was pleasant with intent to make your stay special. The room was spacious, clean and looked freshly renovated. The complimentary breakfast was very good with many choices. Honestly, I did not expect how nice it was. I was pleasantly surprised!"

"This was a beautiful weekend getaway. My wife and I had a lovely time relaxing before we welcomed our second child. The house is a small quaint cottage, and we loved waking up to the sunrise and birds chirping. Between hammocks, kayaks, a firepit, and just sitting and watching nature it was a beautifully relaxing spot in basically a private nature preserve.Also the hosts provided a thorough document with what to bring, and places to visit/experience in the area.The attraction of the area is the slower pace, so just watch when different places are closed or open. Loved our weekend and highly recomend!"
