The best time to go to Tamwe Township, and indeed Yangon as a whole, is during the dry season, which runs from November to February.During these months, you'll experience pleasant temperatures with less humidity and virtually no rain, making it ideal for exploring the township and its surroundings comfortably. The cooler, drier air makes walking around the local markets and visiting the smaller pagodas in Tamwe much more enjoyable. This period is particularly good for those who prefer cooler weather for sightseeing. You'll find it easier to visit landmarks like the Nga Htat Gyi Pagoda or the Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple without the intense heat and humidity of the summer months. While March and April are also dry, temperatures rise significantly, which might be less comfortable for some travellers.
